Uninvited users are getting email updates but they shouldn't get any mail.
We add feature requests on behalf of these users on private boards. At a later moment we go public, but till that moment an uninvited user should not receive updates.

@wesley-van-schaijk Thanks for sharing this. This seems to be an oversight. Ideally, we do send emails to requesters when you create a post on their behalf - but I understand this use-case. People who haven't yet accepted the invite should not get any email notifications.
I'll have this fixed soon.
@pranav-singh Maybe you should draw a line between public or private boards (and when available public/private posts). In case the post is public you should send an email otherwise you shouldn't.
Another suggestion is adding a checkbox to set if you want the user (which you are posting on behalf of) should be included in the loop of notifications or not.
That's a fair idea @wesley-van-schaijk, thank you! Let me think about this a little more and I'll share a final spec with you at the earliest.
I think @wesley-van-schaijk point is spot on! The line should be drawn for private/public boards. Customers should not receive email notifications for any activity on a private board. This can later be extended to #unlisted posts as well.
@wesley-van-schaijk I am sorry that this is taking a little more time than expected. I had to prioritize some work related to infrastructure. I hope to get this fixed by next week.
