Edit/Delete Comments and Private Notes

Ability to edit comments/notes after having made them. To help clarify or add additional information.

I have felt the need for this as well, both for comments and private notes.

There is just one pitfall to look out for here, once a comment is posted - notification emails have already gone out. One way forward is - do not send notification emails if the comment is edited, and let the users find the edited content on Cadet.

Pranav: Seems like there are three possible ways forward:

1. Do not send notification email if the comment is edited


2. Send a notification email if the comment is edited


3. Give Admin the option of having a notification email sent.

I think #1 is fine.

Once you have @mention activated, an Admin could always add an additional comment saying something like @here updated ^^ . This is how we handle updates in Slack.

@brian-smith - thank you for sharing your thoughts. Yes, I do think #1 would be the best option for version 1 of this feature. We can always keep improving it once the version 1 is in place.
