Email Notifications

This is one of those must-have features. Once a customer participates on a post (either votes or comments) he should receive email updates about the activity on that post, primarily: new comments and status changes.

We will later add the ability to customize what kind of notifications a customer can receive to reduce noise in their inbox. Like once we add @mentions, notification preference can be changed to just getting email notification if someone mentions them.

We have released the first version of Email Notifications. Here are the notifications you can expect in your inbox:

As Admins:

• When a user creates a new post


• When a user comments on a post

As Customers:

• When an Admin comments on a post you requested


• When the status of a post that you participated in changes. Participation represents: commenting or upvoting a post.
