We have released the first version of Email Notifications. Here are the notifications you can expect in your inbox:
As Admins:
- When a user creates a new post
- When a user comments on a post
As Customers:
- When an Admin comments on a post you requested
- When the status of a post that you participated in changes. Participation represents: commenting or upvoting a post.
Founder, Cadet
This is one of those must-have features. Once a customer participates on a post (either votes or comments) he should receive email updates about the activity on that post, primarily: new comments and status changes.
We will later add the ability to customize what kind of notifications a customer can receive to reduce noise in their inbox. Like once we add @mentions, notification preference can be changed to just getting email notification if someone mentions them.
